Advantages
- Limits solar heat gain inside the building, controls excessive sunlight brightness, keeps the interior cool, and reduces energy consumption.
- With its reflective properties and vision-spandrel compatibility, it ensures visual integrity in glass facade buildings.
- Creates a mirror effect when viewed from the brighter side. For example, during the day, it provides a one-way view from inside to outside, whereas at night, the effect is reversed, allowing a one-way view from outside to inside.
- Can undergo tempering, partial tempering, enamel printing, and lamination.
Note:
- The coated surface should be used facing inward (2nd surface).
- All solar control glass carries a risk of thermal breakage. Therefore, Şişecam High Reflective Glass is recommended to be used in tempered or partially tempered form.
- When laminating, to mitigate thermal breakage risks, all layers of laminated glass should be either tempered or partially tempered.
Şişecam High Reflective Glass can be used as a single glass pane or as part of Isıcam Systems.
When combined with Şişecam Low-E Glass in the Isıcam Systems S Series, it provides both solar control and heating cost savings.
